Aurora is made entirely of polylactic acid (PLA) composite, it possesses the ability of an increased rate of descompostion by outdoors elements (humidity and temperature) to eventually return into nature. Furthermore, being compostable and recyclable can be easily reprocessed.
Creating everyday uses for bio-polymers, expand their potential applications for sustainable products. Although this technology needs to be improved, it presents a step in the right direction to gradually replace petroleum-based polymers.
