Miró, a pioneer of the Surrealism, always knew how to see the world through the eyes if his inner-child mind. What I admire the most, is his naive yet prolific imagination expressed by colourful traces. As you can see on this video his work was closely related to the hypnagogic state, in which the reality merges with the dreams.

When I was a child I remember looking at some of his paintings on an art book, and I felt in love even though I didn't know anything about art. Then, many years later I visited the Fundació Miró, in Barcelona, in which I saw one of the most incredible artwork from him. A huge tapestry called Tapestry of the Fundació.

This is me contemplating this huge cat at the Fundació Miró.
